It is said that nutrition is the foundation of health. In this class the study of nutrition principles as they apply to the promotion of optimal health and disease is covered. Review of materials such as nutritional concepts, individual nutrients, nutritional assessment, and intervention during disease. Learning to promote health for oneself and also for clients is essential for continuing a healthy practice. Current research and practical application presented.
