July 2020 Message: Hope

Hope
Hope is said to be one of the 3 greatest virtues.  I believe it is one of the best tools for life.  One thing I have learned about life is, during hard times, have hope, because good times will come again.  The definition of hope is:
“hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes with respect to events and circumstances in one’s life or the world at large. As a verb, its definitions include: “expect with confidence” and “to cherish a desire with anticipation.”
I just want to take a moment and tell all of you healers out there to not give up on your dreams and massage therapy practice. Stick with massage therapy.  People still need massage therapists, now, more than ever.  In our clinic, we have people calling, in tears, because they need a massage so bad.  The media is telling us that we can’t touch people and our smiles have to be hidden. So the need for massage will increase.   We humans need touch, it is critical to our health.  Have hope, stay the path, you are needed.
